Project scope: After successfully completing the design of their Eclipse Workstation, Micros again called on Definitive to help with the design of a Point of Sale terminal.

Our designers and engineers created an unobtrusive and durable retail workstation that’s compatible with the client’s existing products–complete with an adjustable stand and multiple mounting configurations. It includes an adjustable scratch-resistant active matrix touch-screen display, upgraded computer hardware, and mounting features for a wide variety of peripheral devices such as card strip readers. The Workstation 4 provides a lower cost solution with added flexibility. The design enjoys wide acceptance in the food service industry and has been a financial success for Micros.
